Since moving to the region, I have been an active, vocal and visible member of the Hervey Bay community.

Celebrating over 40 years of marriage, with two sons and six grandchildren, I’m proud to call Hervey Bay my home.

As the son of small business owners, I know the value of hard work, community spirit and civic duty. I have been actively involved in the Fraser Coast Hospice Association, Meals on Wheels Fraser Community Inc, the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal and the Queensland Leukemia Foundation. I will always advocate for a healthier and stronger Hervey Bay.

I have enjoyed a diverse career as a solicitor, registered nurse, and Australian Army soldier. My experience as an Australian Army Medic and Operating Theatre Technician, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of various health and aged care services, has given me a solid understanding of the health care sector. I am particularly passionate about protecting the safety and security of our people.

Hervey Bay locals deserve a state parliament representative who is visible, vocal and active. That’s why I put my hand up to be your representative in State Parliament. I’m taking every opportunity to articulate for an infrastructure and workforce plan that meets the growing needs in our Hervey Bay community.
